The Logistics Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in the comprehensive management of the transportation of our products from our distribution center to various global ports.

This position requires an individual who can operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment, adeptly planning, coordinating, generating documentation, and ensuring timely deliveries to our onboard teams while adhering to compliance standards.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee both international and domestic logistics processes to guarantee prompt and precise inventory transfers, which encompasses shipment management, communication with stakeholders, and the preparation of shipping documentation for goods moving to and from our storage and supplier facilities worldwide.

2. Address and resolve logistics and transportation discrepancies related to shipments, liaising with the supply chain team and compliance management as necessary.

3. Ensure all shipments are prepared in accordance with customs regulations and requirements for both exporting and receiving authorities.

4. Accurately record all logistics expenses and apply correct pricing methodologies for monthly shipment cost assessments.

5. Maintain and update tracking systems for all shipments on a daily basis.

6. Provide constructive feedback to management regarding process improvements or identified system deficiencies.

7. Communicate effectively with all ships, vendors, carriers, port agents, and internal departments regarding the status of inbound and outbound freight.



Qualifications:

- A minimum of three years of experience in logistics coordination is required.

- Previous experience in freight forwarding and export operations is preferred.

- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

- Certification or familiarity with DOT/IATA/IMDG shipment processing is essential.

- Experience with AES and INTRA systems is advantageous.

Work Environment:

This position allows for some flexibility in hours; however, employees must be available during core working hours and maintain a minimum of 30 hours per week to uphold full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary based on job requirements.



Physical Requirements:

The role is primarily office-based, involving frequent sitting, walking, and standing, with occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, and balancing. The position necessitates the ability to lift office supplies and equipment weighing up to 20 pounds. Effective oral and auditory communication is essential for interpersonal interactions and the use of communication devices.
