Role Responsibilities: The Supply Chain Inventory and Purchasing team plays a vital role in fostering supplier relationships at a tactical level by executing and expediting purchase orders. This team ensures that the appropriate quantities of products are delivered to the correct locations, on time, and at optimal costs. They assist in negotiating product and supply chain expenses, leverage supplier contract terms, collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance processes, and assess supplier performance to improve the overall supply chain.

Key Duties:

  • Lead supply chain, warehouse, and sorting teams effectively.
  • Support the rollout of new products, strategic initiatives, and operational excellence projects.
  • Engage with sourcing requests for supplier selection and cost analysis, being accountable for Purchase Price Variance (PPV) projects.
  • Ensure the accurate maintenance of system master data and materials inventories.
  • Analyze demand, supply, capacities, and data sets proficiently.
  • Create and uphold documented processes for essential operational tasks across Planning, Procurement, Sorting, and Warehouse operations, including Leadership Standard Work for the management team.
  • Participate in analyzing collection volumes by device type, customer demographics, and transportation costs for returned products.
  • Coordinate with Global Transportation to optimize freight methods for cost efficiency.
  • Plan scheduling to meet net requirements, utilize capacities, and enhance process efficiency.
  • Identify, develop, and implement administrative and operational enhancements to standardize methodologies while eliminating non-value-added activities.
  • Recommend and enact improvements to boost production, reduce waste, and create efficient operations.
  • Implement cross-training to ensure operational continuity across all key functions and tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Possess technical knowledge and skills in ERP systems.
  • Provide accurate forecasts to functional groups regarding expected production, PPV impacts, and freight/collection costs.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Participate in required Supply Planning and Category Operating Unit meetings.
  • Oversee employee development, including training, coaching, counseling, and performance evaluations.
  • Possess 8-12 years of relevant experience, preferred.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, preferred.

Compensation: The anticipated salary range is $85,100 - $127,680 per year. This position is also eligible for bonuses.
