As a Lead Teacher or Early Childhood Education Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a teaching team to create classroom plans, set goals, and facilitate engaging activities tailored to the children's interests and needs.
  • Maintaining daily communication with parents, documenting and sharing significant milestones in their child's development.
  • Ensuring a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to essential procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:

Applicants must successfully complete necessary state and company background checks and meet the minimum educational and experiential requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or higher education level is required.
  • A minimum of six months of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is necessary.
  • Proven knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) is essential.

Compensation Range: $22.75 / Hour

The compensation range provided here or discussed during the interview process reflects what Bright Horizons anticipates offering for this position. Actual compensation offers will depend on various factors, including experience, education, training, certifications, location, and other relevant business considerations.
