Position Overview:
As a Guest Services Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our guests during their arrival and departure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with a warm and genuine greeting, using a friendly tone and clear communication.
  • Facilitate the check-in process by accurately entering and retrieving information from our computer system, confirming guest details and room rates.
  • Process payments, including credit card authorizations and cash transactions, while maintaining an organized cash drawer.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, taking messages and relaying information to guests as needed.
  • Assist guests during check-out, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns that may arise.
  • Handle guest complaints with care, conducting thorough investigations to find effective solutions.
  • Maintain composure and focus during busy periods and emergency situations, utilizing sound judgment.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and be available for regular shifts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous.
  • Strong mathematical skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of customers, demonstrating patience and diplomacy.
  • Physical ability to stand and move throughout the front office area while performing essential functions.
  • Proficient in using a computer system for data entry and retrieval.
  • Adept at recognizing and responding to emergency situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with colleagues and guests.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to various audiences.
