The Guest Services Representative is responsible for warmly welcoming and registering guests, processing payments, and ensuring a seamless experience throughout their stay. This role involves close collaboration with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet guests upon arrival and manage room assignments
• Provide detailed information regarding hotel amenities, room availability, and pricing
• Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism
• Facilitate room bookings, including same-day reservations and pre-registrations
• Coordinate with housekeeping to maintain cleanliness and readiness of guest rooms
• Process guest check-outs and handle payments efficiently
• Assist with luggage handling during check-in and check-out
• Follow established procedures for baggage tagging and storage
• Deliver messages and packages to guest rooms promptly
• Maintain cleanliness in the lobby and luggage storage areas
• Create personalized welcome amenities for special guests
• Manage reservations, modifications, and cancellations
• Recommend local dining and recreational options to guests
• Perform cash handling and daily reconciliation tasks
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members in a courteous manner
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned
• Minimum age of 18 years
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is advantageous
This position requires the ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods. Employees may work in various conditions, including outdoor environments, and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance.
