The Internship Program

Our internship program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience and exposure to the pharmaceutical industry. As a Reliability Engineer Intern, you will work closely with our experienced professionals to develop workflows and Standard Operating Procedures for the maintenance process. You will also have the opportunity to work with our Computerized Maintenance Management System, SAP, and Excel to pull maintenance data and create Key Performance Indicators and trackers.

Scope of the Position

The Reliability Engineer Intern will be responsible for implementing Reliability Excellence industry best practices, improving maintenance plans, evaluating bad actor equipment, and making reliability and maintenance improvements to process equipment based on data. You will also have the opportunity to work on populating the SAP Material Management system with images of spare parts in the technical warehouse to assist maintenance personnel in identifying the materials needed for completing work orders.

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, biomedical, biochemical, or industrial systems engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong academic record with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
  • Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
