The Program

Our internship program provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting, working on projects that contribute to the company's business objectives. As a Reliability Engineer Intern, you will work closely with experienced professionals to develop workflows and Standard Operating Procedures for the maintenance process.

Scope of Position

The Reliability Engineer Intern will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing workflows and Standard Operating Procedures for the maintenance process
  • Working with the team to understand the Computerized Maintenance Management System, SAP, and Excel to pull maintenance data and create Key Performance Indicators and trackers
  • Populating the SAP Material Management system with images of spare parts in the technical warehouse to assist maintenance personnel in identifying the materials needed for completing work orders
  • Implementing Reliability Excellence industry best practices, improving maintenance plans, evaluating bad actor equipment, and making reliability and maintenance improvements to process equipment based on data
Requirements

To be considered for this internship, you must:

  • Be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, biomedical, biochemical, or industrial systems engineering, or a related discipline
  • Have a strong academic record with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Be a conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills, and attention to detail
  • Be able to balance multiple projects and priorities, and be able to multi-task
  • Have strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
