Piper Companies is a leading global pharmaceutical organization that manufactures a wide range of products addressing chronic and life-threatening conditions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, implementation, and improvement of systems and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in system improvement and equipment reliability projects to meet business and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and implement company-wide initiatives and roll-outs for formulation areas, driving process optimization and efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional process improvements across groups and internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Develop plans to improve the performance of processes or systems, and plans for continued maintenance on existing equipment and tools.
- Improve the performance of existing processes or systems using root cause analysis and green belt tools, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and manage project budgets for improvements of processes and systems, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost management.
- Participate in event response activities, providing technical expertise and support to ensure business continuity.
- Support the technical development of Process Maintenance Techs and Area Specialists, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of industry engineering experience, with a strong background in process optimization and improvement.
- Experience troubleshooting issues or deviations in a process, with a focus on root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Process optimization or process improvement experience, with a proven track record of driving efficiency and productivity gains.
- Experience with external audits, regulatory compliance, and filling areas, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
- B.S./M.S. in an Engineering Discipline, with a focus on process engineering or a related field.
