Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays as required.
Compensation:
$14.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Sanitation Specialist, your duties will include:
- Ensuring the sanitation washroom is maintained in a clean and hygienic state, while operating all equipment safely and in accordance with established guidelines.
- Properly handling and mixing cleaning and sanitizing agents as per the manufacturer's instructions.
- Cleaning and sanitizing greenhouse equipment to prevent contamination of produce.
- Monitoring and reporting on Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures and other HACCP prerequisite programs as necessary.
- Overseeing equipment and supplies to facilitate the completion of departmental tasks and providing training to employees as needed.
- Daily cleaning of pack-house, cooler, and common area floors.
- Conducting scheduled cleaning of the pack-house.
- Following procedures for the safe removal of broken glass.
- Maintaining inventory of cut gloves through sorting and stocking.
- Cleaning and draining dumpsters as required.
- Providing backup support as a housekeeper when necessary.
- Cross-training and assisting in other departmental areas as needed.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
- Wearing all required personal protective equipment for each task.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A High School diploma or GED.
Experience and Skills:
The ideal candidate will have:
- One to three years of experience in the sanitation field.
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations as they apply to job-related tasks.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Ability to apply proper cleaning and sanitizing techniques.
- Familiarity with company-specific Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
- Basic knowledge of operational and preventive maintenance for dispensers.
- Capability to work independently and follow instructions effectively.
Working Environment:
Candidates should be prepared for:
- Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 50 lbs.
- Extended periods of standing and walking.
- Engaging in bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, and repetitive motions.
- Working in proximity to moving equipment.
- Comfortable working in environments where bees may be present.
