Activity Coordinator for Adults with Special Needs

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Coordinator to join our team at Kilimanjaro Broadways INC. As an Activity Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of adults with special needs by leading individuals in meeting collective and individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help individuals with developing social and emotional skills
- Use a range of creative ideas that may include crafts, games, puzzles, outdoor activities, and community activities
- Communicate with parents and other school personnel
- Assess students' skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of people with special needs
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Problem solving and mediation skills
- Knowledge of working as a Team
