Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Bard Manufacturing Company, a leading manufacturer in the HVAC industry, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Madison, GA.

Job Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for performing administrative and generalist human resources functions, including benefits administration, employee relations, training, and policy implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire recruitment and selection, pre-employment screening, and background checks
  • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees
  • Coordinate benefits enrollment and annual open enrollment periods, ensuring accurate and timely processing
  • Maintain visibility on the production floor, providing support and guidance to employees
  • Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries, addressing concerns and resolving issues
  • Coordinate recognition and service award programs, fostering a positive and engaged work environment
  • Maintain Uniform, Safety Shoe, and Prescription Safety Glass programs, ensuring compliance and employee safety
  • Lead and coordinate employee events and special projects, promoting teamwork and morale
  • Update electronic monitors and monthly newsletters, keeping employees informed and engaged
  • Coordinate employees' leaves of absence, including FMLA, STD, and LTD, ensuring compliance and support
  • Provide timely feedback to employees upon request, addressing concerns and promoting growth
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Assist with employee relations and keep the Human Resources Manager informed, ensuring effective communication and support
Requirements
  • Minimum Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers
  • Strong project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion, handling sensitive information with professionalism
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
