Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Medical Assistant to join our team at Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting management in the day-to-day operations of the clinic, providing exceptional patient care, and leading a team of medical assistants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist management in the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including scheduling, daily work assignments, and employee engagement.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including performing specialized medical procedures and serving as a clinical preceptor to enhance training and improve skill deficiencies amongst staff.
  • Lead a team of medical assistants, including motivating, directing, and retaining staff, and promoting a culture of camaraderie and teamwork.
  • Advise and assist staff on problem-solving patient/customer concerns and address issues associated with clinic operations.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Requirements
  • Combined 2 years of experience in Certified Medical Assistant and/or Senior Medical Assistant.
  • Certification or 7 years of Medical Assistant overall experience.
  • Prior experience working in a preceptor designation preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Experience with EMR.
  • Medical Assistant Certification.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $27.50 per hour.
