As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Room patients in a timely and courteous manner, taking vitals, reviewing health history, and turning over rooms between patients.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, ordering lab tests, and preparing patients for procedures.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient office operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and office procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
