Medical Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team at Sutter Bay Medical Foundation. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and implementing medical care for patients in collaboration with a physician. Your expertise will be essential in providing high-quality patient care, education, and transitions of care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose patients in collaboration with a physician
- Implement medical care plans and provide patient education
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care
- Manage patients in various settings, including office, hospital, emergency, and perioperative environments
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the State of California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Two years of recent relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
