Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll perform a variety of patient care and administrative duties under the supervision of our physicians. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for examination and treatment, obtaining and recording vital signs and medical history, and assisting with clinical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment.
  • Obtain and record patients' vital signs, medical history, and current medications.
  • Assist with clinical procedures, including preparing and administering medications, and performing point-of-care testing.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Document patient data and care in the medical record, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, completing medical insurance forms, and maintaining patient records.

Requirements

We're looking for a Certified Medical Assistant with a strong foundation in patient care and administrative skills. You'll need to be certified in one of the following programs: CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), CCMA (NHA), NCMA (NCCT), RMA (ARMA), NRCMA (NAHP), or RMA (AAMP). Work Environment

This is a non-management role that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with our healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
