CNO Financial Group is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to oversee interactions for a significant portfolio of small market clients.

The Manager will serve as the primary contact for the client's decision-makers or main broker representatives.

In this role, the Manager will advocate for the client and ensure their ongoing success with their CNO solutions.

The Manager will act as the main liaison between the client and CNO Sales and Delivery teams.

Key performance indicators will include client revenue retention, revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling, engagement with the solution by the client's members, adherence to best practices, and the ability to generate client references.

This position offers an opportunity to cultivate trusting relationships with a diverse client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders and leadership. Understand client objectives and ensure alignment with relevant delivery resources. Identify, initiate, and/or close new upsell/cross-sell opportunities to align with client goals and drive revenue growth. Facilitate communication initiatives to achieve client engagement and utilization targets. Monitor that clients' key objectives are being fulfilled. Engage clients with reporting resources to provide data, ensuring client engagement with CNO's value. Play a crucial role internally to keep the Product Development, Implementation, and Sales teams informed of any news or developments that require their involvement.

Implement Client Retention Strategies:
Address risks promptly and communicate effectively with sales and leadership for appropriate involvement and mitigation. Lead contract renewal negotiations (typically between $5k - $50k per contract). Maintain revenue base of existing business to meet CNO goals (typically $100k - $500k)

Ideal Candidate Profile:
This position is well-suited for individuals who have:
A proven track record of selling to and serving small to mid-market employers. A commitment to the principles of Trusted Advisor to clients, including critical thinking to foster sound, business-focused decision-making. The ability to manage multiple clients and initiatives simultaneously while staying organized. Demonstrated expertise with sales methodologies and applicable skill sets. The capability to collaborate with both internal and client resources to find solutions. The ability to make a positive impression during the initial sales process. Effective communication skills in both verbal and written forms. The confidence to present to large groups. The ability to quickly learn and utilize internal systems that support the role. Willingness to travel.

Qualifications:
Associate's degree or 4 years of experience in employee benefits account management. 2 years of client services or account management experience in the employee benefits/HR sector. 1 year of experience managing multiple simultaneous projects or clients.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or 8 years of experience in employee benefits account management. 5+ years of client services/account management experience in the employee benefits/HR sector, with a strong preference for benefits technology experience. 3+ years of experience managing multiple simultaneous projects or clients.

1+ years of experience with revenue responsibility (sales or inside sales).

All associates may be required to travel to various corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
