Position Summary
Sign-On Bonus of $750 (for first-time hires)
The Retail Customer Engagement and Automotive Service Specialist (CESS) is a distinctive hybrid position within our stores, designed as a key pathway for future career advancement within our organization.
This role primarily focuses on customer interaction by identifying needs, suggesting suitable products and/or services, executing entry-level vehicle maintenance tasks, and ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt and thorough service completion.
Successful candidates will gain comprehensive knowledge of store operations and will adeptly transition between customer engagement and essential vehicle service tasks as necessary.
ResponsibilitiesHybrid Role
- Customer service, sales, and issue resolution - 75%
- Basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire services, and fluid checks - 25%
- Store operations, including opening/closing duties, inventory management, and displays - as needed
Growth and Career Development Role
- May assist the Manager or act as Manager-On-Duty in specific situations or to support development
- Will learn all facets of store operations and alternate between front-end and back-end tasks
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Customer service orientation and a mindset geared towards career growth
- Ability to complete required training courses and modules for this position
- Capability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks
- Proficiency in learning and utilizing store systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Two-year degree or non-traditional education through training program completion, certification, or other evidence of a growth mindset
- Previous experience in consumer retail sales
- Prior automotive experience is advantageous
- Previous management or supervisory experience is a plus
