Job Overview

Red Envelope Consulting is seeking a passionate and motivated Donor Engagement Representative to enhance our donor relations efforts. This role is essential for fostering connections with both current and potential donors who share our mission.

Key Responsibilities

As a Donor Engagement Representative, your primary duties will include:

  • Identifying and engaging new potential donors who resonate with our vision.
  • Formulating and implementing strategies to meet relationship and fundraising objectives.
  • Building and maintaining strong connections with individuals, foundations, and other potential supporters.
  • Soliciting contributions from existing and prospective donors for significant and mid-level gifts.
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of donor relationships with an annual fundraising target.
  • Performing additional tasks as directed by the leadership team.
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business or Communications.
  • Fundamental computer skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience in securing major donations or closing significant sales.
  • A proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • A willingness to travel as needed for donor engagement activities.
Preferred Experience

Experience with fundraising or similar roles within a faith-based or community-focused organization is advantageous.

Work Environment

This position will primarily involve working in an office setting, with significant time spent on a computer. Physical requirements include the ability to walk, climb stairs, and occasionally lift light weights.

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel may be necessary for donor meetings, events, and other engagements.
