Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Heilind. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans to drive business growth and revenue expansion within our assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within our assigned territory, focusing on account penetration and demand identification initiatives.
  • Account Management: Manage account activity to ensure proper product penetration and volume increases, working closely with internal and external resources to meet customer expectations.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and present professional business proposals to existing and prospective customers, utilizing sales and marketing collateral to demonstrate products and services.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with key customer contacts, including purchasing, engineering, and upper management.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with inside sales to coordinate account activities and strategies, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit strategic account call itineraries and call reports, analyzing sales data and trends to create sales opportunities and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or four years related sales/marketing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience in sales tracking software and CRM a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail and organization skills, ability to manage time efficiently, strong customer service skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, and ability to negotiate and work independently.
