Job Title: Email Developer (Fundraising)

We are seeking an experienced Email Developer (Fundraising) to join our Online Fundraising team at the Wikimedia Foundation. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of our multilingual fundraising and engagement campaigns.

About the Role

The Email Developer (Fundraising) will be responsible for leading the production of high-quality email and banner templates, implementing automated email journeys, and identifying process improvements and revenue optimizations. You will work closely with our Senior Email Campaign Specialists to code emails and provide donors with optimized messages for their language and culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement email campaigns that meet our fundraising goals and engage our donors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns
  • Provide expert-level HTML, CSS, and email development skills to ensure high-quality email templates
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase revenue and efficiency
  • Work closely with our Senior Email Campaign Specialists to ensure alignment with our fundraising strategy
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in email development and fundraising
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and email development
  • Experience with project coordination and working in a collaborative environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities
