Job Overview

Position Summary: The Residential Sales Consultant plays a pivotal role in driving sales for UnionMain Homes by engaging with potential buyers and guiding them through the home purchasing journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently meet and surpass established sales targets and closing objectives.
  • Establish rapport with prospective clients to assess their housing needs and preferences.
  • Convert visitor inquiries into sales to fulfill company objectives.
  • Conduct follow-ups with all interested buyers.
  • Effectively communicate the advantages of utilizing our preferred lending partners to achieve targeted capture rates.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of competing developments in the market.
  • Guide clients through the design, financing, construction, and closing phases to ensure a seamless experience; coordinate necessary appointments and follow-ups.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of home features, pricing options, and design selections to convey effectively to customers.
  • Utilize all sales technology tools provided by UnionMain Homes, including automated contracts and customer management systems.
  • Manage and position all on-site signage as required (e.g., property signs, inventory displays, open house markers).

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of proven success in residential sales, either new or existing homes.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrated expertise in product presentation, sales methodologies, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences while maintaining a professional company image.
  • A valid driver's license and insurance are necessary for travel related to business activities.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Brix and other office software.

Work Environment:

  • Work is conducted in a standard sales office setting with typical office equipment. The role is active and requires travel to various locations for sales engagements, along with walking and standing.
  • Fast-paced work environment subject to frequent changes in schedule and priorities.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 20 pounds may be required.
  • Work hours may vary.
  • Job Types: Full-time, Commission-based.
