Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join our team at Danbury Mission Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for performing full life-cycle Contract Management for a large portfolio of high-value contracts. This role requires active US Government Top Secret security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead negotiation activities for major proposals, analyzing and negotiating contracts received from the government and industry prime customers to identify areas of risk and develop negotiation strategies.
  • Support functional areas, such as Legal, Business Development, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain, by providing contract advice in support of proposals, agreements, and other activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in contract management, negotiation, and administration.
  • Extensive knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements, as well as experience working with US government acquisition organizations and major aerospace prime contractors.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various functional groups at all levels, both internal and external.
  • Active US Government Top Secret security clearance is required.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in an applicable field, such as business, law, or a related field, is required.
