Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis

Position Overview:
Blake Smith Staffing, LLC is in search of a seasoned and strategic Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to enhance our finance division.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in steering financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical functions within the organization.
This role requires close collaboration with senior executives to deliver insights and facilitate decision-making processes that align with our organizational objectives and financial aspirations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Spearhead the creation of detailed financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in partnership with department leaders and project coordinators.
- Data Analysis: Examine financial data and trends to uncover opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Model Development: Construct and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning efforts.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct thorough financial performance analysis, comparing actual outcomes to established budgets and forecasts.
- Insightful Reporting: Provide variance analysis and insightful commentary to senior management, emphasizing key drivers and trends.
- Strategic Recommendations: Evaluate the financial implications of various business scenarios and propose enhancements.
- Executive Communication: Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and insightful financial reports for executive leadership.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate financial performance and key metrics to various stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting.
- Strategic Insight: Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Evaluation Support: Assist in assessing potential acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic initiatives.
- Long-term Planning: Contribute to the development of long-term financial strategies and capital expenditure plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within the construction sector.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analytical tools.
- Advanced understanding of accounting principles, budgeting methodologies, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
