Spaceflight Systems Engineer

We're redefining space exploration by developing safe, reliable, and cost-effective systems for human spaceflight.

This role plays a critical part in our mission to make space accessible to everyone. As a member of our team, you'll work closely with cross-functional groups to design, develop, integrate, and test cutting-edge avionics hardware and software platforms.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with hardware and software engineers to integrate firmware with other system components
  • Designing, developing, building, and integrating electrical/avionics integration hardware, software, and interconnect solutions
  • Communicating technical information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in electrical or aerospace engineering, physics, or a related field
  • Laboratory experience including ESD protocols, hardware handling, and rework documentation
  • Familiarity with avionics standards and guidelines
  • Experience using common laboratory equipment
  • An understanding of digital, analog, and mixed-signal parts
  • 5+ years of experience working with electronics or electrical/electromechanical systems
  • An understanding of safety-critical systems development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Aptitude for hands-on problem solving

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
