Lunar Systems Engineer III

About the Role: As a System Engineer on our Lunar Permanence Program, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing the software systems that enable safe and efficient human spaceflight. Your expertise will be instrumental in collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with NASA standards, and driving innovation in space technology.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure program-level software requirements are met.
- Assure the program meets software and models & simulations technical standards for Blue Origin and NASA requirements.
- Support the development of safety products related to software.
- Track metrics for software certification products.
- Perform technical work and provide leadership of the highest caliber.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, testing, and verification or systems modeling and simulation development in aerospace industry.
- Experience with NASA on a development program.
- Understanding of spacecraft systems and subsystem functions, and their interfaces.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or another technical field.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per annum
