Configuration Management Engineer for Blue Origin

At Blue Origin, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Configuration Management Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our missions by providing expert guidance on configuration management for various spaceflight systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement configuration management plans to ensure accurate and consistent configuration data throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address configuration management issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and Blue Origin configuration management standards and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and 6+ years of experience in configuration management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in aerospace, medical devices, automotive, or other related industries.
  • Experience with configuration control and change management processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PTC Windchill PLM tools and other CAD tools.
  • Familiarity with CAD conventions such as ASME Y14.100 and Y14.41.
