At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space travel. As a Spatial Manufacturing Specialist, you'll be instrumental in developing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes for our New Shepard program.

About the Role

This role involves leading the fabrication of composite parts, working closely with engineering design, production, and company leadership to support all manufacturing efforts and equipment related to building various New Shepard spaceflight systems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop manufacturing work instructions to clearly define manufacturing processes for composites fabrication, inspection, trimming, and assembly.
  • Closely manage quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout the entire manufacturing process.
  • Perform engineering drawing review and provide final approval for manufacturing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in mechanical, aerospace, or industrial engineering or other relevant field.
  • Hardware manufacturing experience with composite parts.
  • Understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing including solid understanding of GD&T.
Salary Range

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
