Job Summary

Floor & Decor Holdings, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Overnight Receiving Operations Manager to oversee the warehouse operations of each retail store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising warehouse personnel, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations Management: Direct and oversee the daily activities of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
  • Inventory Management: Responsible for the storage, rotation, and inspection of products to ensure accurate inventory levels and compliance with safety procedures.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse operations, including scheduling, freight management, and data entry.
  • Employee Supervision: Supervise and train warehouse personnel, including warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, to ensure they are following standard operating procedures and meeting productivity standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports, and handle general employee inquiries and solve problems.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating, and follow-up skills; ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments; effective communication skills (oral and written); competent in performing basic mathematical calculations; strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Working Conditions

The Overnight Receiving Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, frequently exposed to moderate to noisy conditions. The employee will be required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
