Accounting Manager Job Description

Epic Piping is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our Corporate team. As an integral part of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the controller in the direction of the accounting functions of the organization.
  • Prepare budgets and financial reports, and oversee their evaluation.
  • Present accounting reports to top management and make suitable observations and recommendations.
  • Monitor investment policies and operations of the company.
  • Manage operational data and maintain data accuracy and integrity.
  • Prevent inaccuracies in financial statements by setting up internal control systems and adopting proper policies for financial reporting.
  • Review financial data periodically to ensure fairness and completeness of the data.
  • Develop system controls for ensuring data integrity.
  • Liaison for accounting software, system vendors, consultants, and sale points.
  • Conduct account reconciliations and analysis.
  • Assist in the company's monthly and yearly closing.
  • Assist in special projects whenever asked.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA preferred.
  • 5 Years' experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • JD Edwards experience preferred.
  • CPA required.
