Position Overview

Infosys is seeking a Terraform Specialist with AWS. In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role within the consulting team, assisting in identifying and articulating the problem statement, assessing various solution alternatives, and providing well-informed recommendations. Your responsibilities will include crafting comprehensive design, architecture, and process documentation, as well as executing the deployment strategy. Additionally, you will facilitate knowledge transfer aimed at delivering value-added consulting solutions that empower our clients to adapt to the evolving global landscape.

Location Requirements

This position is available in multiple locations, and candidates should be situated within a reasonable commuting distance or be open to relocating. Travel to project sites may be necessary.

Essential Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or a foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the relevant field may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Proficiency in Terraform and AWS.
  • Experience in Build processes, Software Product Development, Process Automation, Build and Deployment Automation, Release Management, Packaging Quality Control, Source Code repository, and Environment management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservice architecture and conducting POCs using DevOps tools such as Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and GCP on Elastic Container Service and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with automation through AWS Cloud Formation templates.
  • Proficient in scripting languages like Shell and Python, as well as CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab, and databases including MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch.
  • Experience in implementing Release Processes, including DevOps and Continuous Delivery methodologies, to enhance existing Build & Deployment Strategies, Monitoring, and Configuration Management.
  • Understanding of Software Configuration Management (SCM) principles and best practices in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience in developing, enhancing, and maintaining build, deployment, and configuration processes for continuous integration, as well as automating regression and acceptance testing.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery (DR) server management principles to ensure high application availability.
  • Experience in installing firmware upgrades, kernel patches, system configurations, and performance tuning on Unix/Linux systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • A desire to work in a global delivery context.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to articulate daily activities and project progress.
