Position Overview

Infosys is looking for a Terraform Developer specializing in AWS. In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role within the consulting team, assisting in identifying and articulating problem statements, assessing various solution alternatives, and providing informed recommendations. Your responsibilities will include crafting comprehensive design documents, architectural frameworks, and procedural artifacts, as well as executing deployment strategies. Additionally, you will facilitate knowledge transfer aimed at delivering impactful consulting solutions that empower our clients to adapt to the evolving global landscape.

Location Requirements

This role is available in multiple locations, and candidates should be situated within a reasonable commuting distance or be prepared to relocate. Travel to project sites may be necessary.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A Bachelor’s degree or its international equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the relevant field may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology is essential.
  • Proficiency in Terraform and AWS is required.
  • Experience in build processes, software product development, process automation, deployment automation, release management, packaging quality control, and environment management is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with microservice architecture and experience executing proof of concepts using DevOps tools such as Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and GCP on Elastic Container Service and Kubernetes.
  • Experience in automation through AWS CloudFormation templates.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Shell and Python, along with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab, and databases including MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch.
  • Implementation of release processes, including DevOps and Continuous Delivery methodologies, to enhance existing build and deployment strategies, monitoring, and configuration management.
  • Understanding of Software Configuration Management (SCM) principles and best practices within Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience in developing, enhancing, and maintaining build, deployment, and configuration processes for continuous integration, as well as automating regression and acceptance testing.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery server management, ensuring high availability of applications.
  • Experience in installing firmware upgrades, kernel patches, and system configurations, along with performance tuning on Unix/Linux systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • A strong desire to work in a global delivery context.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to articulate daily activities and progress.
