Sales Development Leader

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Development Leader to join our team at Scientific Safety Alliance. As a Sales Development Leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for the full sales cycle, including prospecting new leads, multi-channel outreach, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategy for prospecting new leads
* Develop and execute strategy for multi-channel outreach to our database of potential customers/partners
* Engage in discovery calls, quoting process, and closing deals
* Create channel strategy with cleanroom, laboratory, and hospital construction companies
* Maintain CRM, pipeline, funnel reports and sales forecasts
* Attend industry meetings, conferences and networking events to develop sales opportunities
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally as a founding sales hire
* Ability to travel to the Minneapolis – St. Paul area on a need-basis

About Our Industry:
Our core service is controlled environment testing and certification (cleanrooms, fume hoods, and biosafety cabinets). We dispatch technicians with equipment to ensure that the environment meets standard, issuing a report to the quality manager.
Market Overview:
The controlled environment testing / certification market is growing at 8-9% per year. Almost every major pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, and sterile compounding pharmacy requires these services.
Customer Priorities:
Customers prioritize availability / scheduling, report quality, and quality when selecting new providers.
