Executive Support Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Support Assistant to join our team at Crescent City Recruitment Group. As an Executive Support Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our corporate law team, ensuring the smooth operation of our legal division.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and attending meetings of the Board of Directors, taking notes of all board actions and decisions.
- Draft and prepare agendas, orders, and resolutions required for Board of Directors meetings.
- Ensure that the Board of Directors follows proper legal procedures at meetings.
- Prepare minutes of the Board meetings.
- Interact with the Directors of the districts as well as other consultants, including engineers, operators, bookkeepers, and tax assessor/collectors.
- Prepare documents for obtaining the approval for annexation of land to districts and administer the applications for such approval.
- Provide documents for the required annual review of investment policies and investment strategies.
- Maintain district files and permanent documents.
- Review and finalize correspondence, including proofreading, editing, and redlining.
- Record all client billable hours on the firm's tracking system timely.
Requirements:
- 4 or more years of experience supporting multiple corporate/transactional attorneys in a law firm setting is required.
- 2 or more years of administrative assistant experience, including strong typing, editing, and clerical/administrative skills is required.
- Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite of programs, Workshare Compare, and NetDocs as well as working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is required.
- Knowledge of Texas real property online recordings, Texas Secretary of State recordings/searches, and Texas Comptroller (eSystems) is preferred but not required.
Compensation: Salary with overtime pay, competitive based on experience or skill level, yearly discretionary bonus possible.
