Job Overview

Position: Addiction Recovery Counselor

Location: Starting Point Clinic

Required Certifications: ADT, CAC-AD, or CSC-AD

Starting Point Clinic is in search of a committed and empathetic Addiction Recovery Counselor. Our facility is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and assistance to individuals facing challenges with substance use disorders. In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding our clients towards sustainable recovery and improved well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial evaluations and create tailored treatment strategies for each client.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Track client progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers and community organizations to ensure holistic care.
  • Keep precise and current client documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as an ADT, CAC-AD, or CSC-AD.
  • Experience in supporting individuals with substance use challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.

Operational Hours: 5:15am - 1:30pm, Monday through Friday
