About Allogene Therapeutics:

Allogene Therapeutics is a pioneering biotechnology firm located in South San Francisco, specializing in the development of innovative allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor T cell (AlloCAR TTM) therapies aimed at treating cancer and autoimmune disorders. Our experienced management team is dedicated to creating a robust pipeline of accessible CAR T cell product candidates, striving to provide timely and scalable cell therapy solutions to a wider patient population.

Role Summary:

We are in search of a dynamic and driven professional to enhance our HR department. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will play a vital role within the HR team and the Technology Operations Leadership team, which encompasses Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Product Development. As the primary HR Business Partner for Technology Operations, you will engage with various stakeholders to support recruitment, mentorship, staff retention, and development initiatives, while also addressing employee relations and fostering a positive company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Technology Operations team to deliver comprehensive HR support.
  • Contribute as a key member of a streamlined HR team, providing leadership across the organization.
  • Facilitate recruitment processes, including candidate interviews and collaboration with the talent acquisition team.
  • Work alongside managers to evaluate team performance and assist in career development and retention strategies.
  • Address and resolve employee relations concerns in partnership with management.
  • Provide consultation and coaching to both management and employees.
  • Oversee the annual performance review cycle.
  • Communicate organizational policies and suggest improvements to internal processes.
  • Enhance training and development programs within the organization.
  • Assist in organizing company events and cross-departmental activities.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Human Resources, with some management experience preferred in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to think creatively and adapt best practices to a growing organization.
  • Skillful handling of employee relations matters.
  • Knowledge of Federal and California employment laws, OSHA, and FDA regulations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Self-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Understanding of confidentiality principles.
  • Proficient in cross-functional collaboration and influencing at all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
