About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Georgia-Pacific's San Leandro facility. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in partnering with managers and employees to drive business results and advance continuous improvement of HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build effective working relationships with site leaders and employees to drive business outcomes
- Provide guidance and support on HR-related matters, including compensation, benefits, and employee relations
- Align HR goals with site business objectives and track progress
- Partner with operations and maintenance leaders to ensure optimal staffing and talent management
- Support supervisors, managers, and leaders in implementing our compensation philosophy and succession planning
- Provide input and tools to support employee development, retention, and engagement
- Partner with leaders to grow the site's knowledge and application of Principle-Based Management
- Manage HR projects and transformation initiatives, including change management and leadership development
- Navigate complex labor relations strategies and union relationships
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HRBP, HR Generalist, or HR Manager role
- Experience partnering with plant leadership to drive initiatives and develop front-line supervisors
- Experience analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to leaders
- Knowledge of employment laws and practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Advanced degree in Human Resources or SHRM-CP/SCP certification
- Experience supporting a union facility
- Experience with project management
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, with eligibility for variable pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, and health savings accounts, life insurance, ADD, disability, retirement, paid vacation/time off, educational assistance, and more.
