Position Overview

The Commercial Banking Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in managing client accounts and fostering new business opportunities for USAmeriBancorp. This position operates under the guidance of the Team Leader and is essential for maintaining robust client relationships and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:
  • Manage and nurture assigned client portfolios while effectively cross-selling additional banking products.
  • Engage with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction and to identify any evolving financing requirements.
  • Monitor and assess changes in credit quality, providing timely reports.
  • Negotiate and structure credit facilities that align with the bank's lending policies and standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit approval packages and present them to the appropriate credit authority.
  • Participate in loan closings to guarantee accurate and compliant transactions.
  • Oversee customer transactions, including advances, payments, and wire transfers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure the bank has up-to-date financial information from clients, with thorough analysis documented.
  • Maintain a proactive list of potential clients and continuously seek new business avenues.
  • Solicit and pursue new business opportunities to expand the bank's client base.
Qualifications

Essential Skills:
  • Strong understanding of credit underwriting, basic accounting principles, and loan documentation processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
  • Strong time management abilities.
  • Solid mathematical skills.
  • Proven ability to sell, negotiate, and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong credit assessment and administrative capabilities.
  • Ability to draft reports and professional correspondence.
  • Competence in presenting information clearly and responding to inquiries.
Experience Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field with equivalent experience.
  • Active involvement in the community and/or industry within the designated territory.
  • A Bachelor's Degree with over ten years of related experience is preferred.
