Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Strategist to join our team at Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy of our financing platform in the Americas.
This will include client tiering and acquisitions, deal origination, pre/post trade relationship management, and facilitating the on-boarding/due diligence process.
The new hire will be responsible for the origination and execution of collateralized financing transactions on a wide range of underlying assets (credit, fixed income, equity, funds) and formats (Repos, TRS, pledged loans, note, etc.) registered in trading or banking books, with various client segments (including, banks, insurance companies, asset managers, hedge funds).
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying issues and origination of transactions linked to the financing/liquidity needs of a diverse client base including banks, insurers, asset managers and hedge funds.
- Marketing and executing the full suite of securities financing opportunities through repo, TRS, loan with pledge, securities lending, notes, and derivatives to solve for client needs including liquidity, leverage, market access, hedging and balance sheet relief.
- Mentoring and educating coverage bankers and markets sales teams as to the product landscape and opportunity set.
- Contributing to the strategy and business development efforts of the financing pillar of global markets.
- Participating in the enhancement of the 1LOD model and reinforce the commercial controls.

Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
