Job Overview:

The Human Resources Administrator plays a pivotal role in executing HR-related functions at a professional level, collaborating closely with HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Payroll, and Total Rewards teams. This role encompasses responsibilities across various domains including HRIS management, benefits administration support, employee relations, onboarding processes, policy enforcement, special projects, recruitment, affirmative action, and compliance with employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance and updating of information within HRIS systems and other digital platforms.
  • Support HR Business Partners in addressing employee relations matters, which may involve conducting investigations, managing terminations, and providing employee counseling under supervision.
  • Act as a crucial partner to HR Business teams for specific HR tasks, including internal offer letters, HRIS modifications, and documentation for coaching and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with key vendors such as ADP, Concur, Jobvite, and other HRIS systems.
  • Contribute to the New Hire Orientation process, ensuring compliance with I-9 regulations, HRIS signature requirements, and the accuracy of employee personal profiles.
  • Assist the Senior Benefits Specialist during Open Enrollment and with HRIS-related benefits inquiries.
  • Streamline and manage the flow of administrative tasks within the HR department.
  • Maintain documentation and filing systems, initiating follow-up actions as necessary.
  • Coordinate the exit interview process, ensuring timely adherence to proper termination protocols and paperwork.
  • Execute additional duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent in education and experience) in Human Resources, Human Relations, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Paycor, ADP, Jobvite, or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Membership in SHRM is preferred.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in Human Resources administration.
  • General understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Experience in onboarding new employees.
  • Understanding of Human Resources Law and its practical application.
  • Ability to empathize and communicate effectively with employees at all organizational levels, while also managing difficult conversations.
  • Demonstrated capacity to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Experience in handling and safeguarding confidential information.
  • Strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, with examples of effective time management methods.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and business needs.
