Job Summary
This position allows the intern to explore multiple aspects of a role within an HR Department. Primarily assisting the VP of Talent Management and Development, you will gain insights into fostering employee growth and engagement initiatives while learning about other specialized areas within the HR team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new employees by preparing orientation materials and coordinating training sessions.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring precision and confidentiality.
  • Help organize and coordinate HR events and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including data entry, scheduling meetings, and managing email correspondence.
  • Engage in various HR projects and initiatives as required, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in building a career in Human Resources.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior internship or work experience in an HR or administrative capacity.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when managing confidential information.
  • Experience with SharePoint and/or Canva.
