We are currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist to assist in the logistics division of our Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) program. This role is essential for the successful implementation, operation, and upkeep of the Army's M-LIDS (Mobile Low, Slow Unmanned Aircraft Integrated Defense System). The Technical Support Specialist will provide vital technical knowledge, training, and assistance to military personnel and contractors involved in the M-LIDS system's operation and maintenance. The primary location for this position will be determined, with travel requirements within the United States up to 30%.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver critical on-site technical support to military units during system implementation, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Collaborate with fellow specialists and engineers to tackle complex challenges.
  • Facilitate in-depth training sessions for military personnel and contractors, covering all aspects of M-LIDS system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Ensure comprehensive understanding of system components and operational procedures to promote self-sufficiency.
  • Maintain meticulous records related to system maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. Generate detailed performance reports, identify issues, and suggest enhancements. Contribute to the updating of technical manuals and documentation as necessary.
  • Work closely with other specialists, logistics staff, and engineers to coordinate support efforts. Act as a liaison with the program management office, ensuring effective communication and relaying valuable field feedback.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Technical expertise in electronics, communications, or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of experience with unmanned aerial systems (UAS) or comparable technologies preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to travel to various deployment sites as required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Capability to travel up to 30%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating within an infantry brigade combat team (IBCT) and lower levels in support of large-scale ground combat operations (LSGCO).
  • Familiarity with Army Air Defense Doctrine and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
