Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring that rupture discs and their accessories comply with established guidelines, including manufacturing protocols, technical drawings, national standards, and customer specifications. This is achieved through various inspection processes, including receiving, in-process, and final inspections, as well as the calibration of precision measuring instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to written procedures and relevant certification standards to verify that all manufactured and machined products meet specified requirements.
- Conduct receiving inspections for all incoming parts.
- Oversee the production process in the CNC area through initial and ongoing inspections.
- Perform final inspections on all products before they are packaged and shipped.
- Document and manage non-conforming products, directing them to the appropriate holding area.
- Calibrate and maintain the inventory of measuring tools, including pressure and control gauges.
- Record inspection data into the computer system accurately.
- Generate non-conformance reports and provide weekly updates.
- Assist with additional tasks as required based on operational needs.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED is required; an associate's degree in Industrial Technology or a related field is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Intermediate mathematical and reading comprehension skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant certification standards and codes.
- Competent in using computers, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

- Vision requirements include acuity of 20/30 or better in either eye.
