Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Overview:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in interacting with clients directly and assisting them with their product choices.
Compensation:
This position is classified as non-exempt and is compensated hourly. Starting hourly rates are $18.00, with opportunities for overtime (paid at 1.5x) and performance bonuses.
Annual earnings for new employees typically range from $38,400.00 to $52,600.00 or more, based on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage customer transactions.
- Accurately document and maintain customer contact information.
- Establish and nurture customer relationships.
- Handle inbound sales inquiries and initiate outbound sales calls.
- Consistently follow up on commitments made to customers.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure effective order processing.
- Assist clients in identifying their order needs or service requirements.
- Identify and escalate customer concerns appropriately.
- Provide pricing information and prepare sales orders.
- Process sales transactions and payments.
- Coordinate delivery logistics for customer orders.
- Create shipping documentation and packing lists.
- Resolve customer issues that arise during the delivery process.
- Collaborate with Sales Representatives to maintain accurate account records.
- Demonstrate a commitment to customer focus, teamwork, and communication.
- Stay informed about company products and services.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required; some college coursework preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on positive language.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Goal-oriented mindset.
- Good numerical skills with quick calculation abilities.
- Proficient in using PCs and navigating multi-window environments.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
