Job Summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the direction of the Radiation Safety Officer and Physician Authorized Users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
  • Operate nuclear medicine instruments and imaging equipment, including SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT
  • Assist physicians with performing and viewing of NM and PET/CT procedures
  • Use radiation safety practices and perform quality control procedures on all nuclear medicine equipment
  • Document and maintain accurate records of procedures and patient care
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of a formal training program in Nuclear Medicine technology
  • California Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals certification
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT) certification
  • Certified Computed Tomography (CT) certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in radiology
