Responsibilities:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures and computer analysis for medical diagnosis under the direction of the Radiologist/Medical Director. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge, and evidence-based practice. Qualifications:
Must be currently registered and certified with the State of California Radiologic Health Branch and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or must be registry eligible by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB). Must be CPR certified. Minimum of one-year clinical experience in a hospital nuclear medicine department. Preferred one year Pet/CT experience. High School graduate, Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved program in Nuclear Technology. Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures and techniques, Understanding of current ethics, laws, and regulations, Understanding of nuclear medicine theory and procedures, safe handling and disposal of radioactive materials, Understanding of current ethics, laws, and regulations. Requires minimal supervision and interaction in day-to-day fulfillment of job responsibility. Demonstrates a quality attitude toward patient care.
