We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist Level II to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. This role requires a strong background in nuclear medicine, with a focus on preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies.

Under the direction of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing, measuring, and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies
  • Utilizing efficient and safe processes to perform related technological functions and ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care
  • Training and orienting Nuclear Medicine Technologists
  • Ensuring accurate calibration of equipment and following radiation safety techniques
  • Operating PET radiopharmaceutical infusion systems and performing calibration, quality control, and troubleshooting

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in nuclear medicine and a strong understanding of radiation safety techniques. A S. degree or graduate of a JRCNMT accredited nuclear medicine program is required. Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) is also required.
