Key Responsibilities:

The Clinical Associate (CA) will serve as a product authority and proficient clinical educator, tasked with supporting the SRS sales team as the BPH Care Pathway expert and implementation advisor within designated urology practices. The CA will cultivate a pivotal clinical partnership with the BPH Nurse Navigator and/or clinical personnel, physicians, and administrative staff at the assigned urology practice. The primary focus of the CA role is to implement agreed-upon BPH pathways within the designated urology client practices while providing ongoing training and support to clinical staff, administrators, and physicians regarding procedures, products, and interpretation of results.

Success in this role will be gauged by the attainment of essential sales metrics, including the number of urologists utilizing SRS products, monthly volume, and staff engagement within targeted practices. The CA will be responsible for fostering significant internal relationships with SRS customer service and clinical education teams, as well as the sales and marketing leadership. The CA will actively engage in regional and national meetings and team discussions to share on-site clinical experiences and contribute to the enhancement of the CA strategy to elevate SRS's market positioning.

Essential Duties:

  • Facilitate the implementation of SRS 4 and 3 visit BPH protocols across all targeted urology practices.
  • Become a recognized expert in SRS products and a highly effective clinical trainer.
  • Establish and maintain key partnerships with the site BPH Nurse Navigator and/or clinical staff.
  • Lead patient education initiatives within client offices.
  • Conduct regular clinical reviews with customers, utilizing procedure data to demonstrate the clinical application of SRS technologies to physicians and key clinical staff.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams, sharing insights and knowledge to enhance company performance.
  • Uphold the company’s Vision, Mission, and Values.
  • Actively participate in regional meetings and team calls to share clinical insights.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the CA role to improve customer experience and streamline the implementation of SRS technologies and pathways.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma.
  • Medical Assistant certification (or equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field.

Skills and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in a clinical office environment or in a sales role within healthcare.
  • A patient-centered approach and strong motivation.
  • Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with physicians, nurses, and patients.
  • Proven ability to train and educate others.
  • Clinical knowledge, including familiarity with medications, devices, urologic diagnostics, and procedures.
  • A proactive self-starter with a desire to develop skills and advance within the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in situations requiring further investigation.
  • Commitment to delivering the highest quality of care for patients.
  • Ability to adhere to established routines and accepted clinical practices.
  • Proficient in managing diverse personalities, including medical assistants, nurses, and physicians.
  • Willingness to travel between multiple customer offices regularly.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent overnight travel is necessary.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to write legibly and convey instructions and schedules.
  • Educating physicians and staff on the complexities of SRS products before and during procedures.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable standing or sitting for extended periods.

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive base salary, an annual bonus target, and a car allowance.
