Position Overview

Delaware North Travel and Hospitality is seeking a dedicated full-time Host to enhance our operations at Charleston Airport. In this role, you will be instrumental in greeting visitors and overseeing the host station.

Compensation

$16.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze daily floor plans and reservation logs to develop seating arrangements
  • Accommodate guests and manage wait times effectively
  • Inspect dining and service areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
  • Engage with guests to confirm satisfaction with food and service, address concerns, and express gratitude as they depart
  • Manage restaurant phone inquiries during operational hours
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
  • Ability to maintain high energy levels in a fast-paced setting and juggle multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills with guests and team members
  • This position requires the successful completion of a background check
Physical Demands
  • Capability to remain on feet for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to navigate between tables and around corners
  • Capacity to lift and carry items weighing up to 35 pounds
