Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee life sciences projects from conception through to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Create comprehensive project plans that detail scope, timelines, resource distribution, and financial allocations.
  • Facilitate collaboration among cross-disciplinary teams, including researchers, scientists, regulatory experts, and external collaborators, to achieve successful project results.
  • Track project progress, identify potential challenges, and implement strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring timely project completion.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project milestones, status, and any necessary adjustments to the project plan.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and industry guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Organize project meetings, prepare necessary documentation, and monitor project deliverables.
  • Manage project finances, track expenditures, and report on financial outcomes.
  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancement and applying best practices in project management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or PMP certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of project management experience within the life sciences or a related field.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and achieve results within established deadlines.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
