Senior Director of Food Service Operations

The Senior Director of Food Service Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the food service department. This includes managing a team of employees, client relationships, and the profitability of the account.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate the department in accordance with the approved budget, providing maximum value to the client.
- Ensure the quality of food offered is superior.
- Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
- Maintain excellent relationships with guests, clients, and other departments.
- Promote the professional growth and development of the team.
- Foster strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Minimum of five years of proven leadership expertise.
- Two to four years of direct food service operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
- Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
- P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.
- ServSafe certified is a plus.
